Hang on to a Dream was set up in 1997 to realise the dreams of terminally/seriously ill children and young people. To date, dozens of dreams have been realised and happiness brought to these young people.
Dream judges each case individually and operates a flexible age policy which means that not only does the charity help young children, but also teens and twenties. Another thing which makes 'Dream' unique is the fact that not one penny of funds raised is spent on administration costs, wages or equipment.
Our cases are very varied and include: meeting Liverpool Football Players, visits to Manchester United and Middlesborough Football Clubs, helicopter trips, meeting 'Hear Say', specialist computer equipment and audio equipment, etc., etc.
If you know of a young person who could benefit from our charity or wish to make a donation please contact Nigel Francis by clicking on the contact us page and e-mail him or send him a letter.
'Hang on to a Dream' is the first regional charity in Yorkshire to raise money for terminally and seriously ill children to make their dreams come true!
Hang on to a Dream would like to thank the members of 'BZN' and Dick De Boer for the use of the song 'Hang on to a Dream'. For more information about BZN go to:
